Kara E. Pratt

Kara Pratt graduated from Baylor University Law School in 1995. Kara, along with her family, have made their home in Hillsboro for many years. She and her family are very dedicated to ensuring the success of Hillsboro as well as Hill County. Kara has served on many committees and boards. She currently holds the positions of a member of the Grievance Committee District 7; Chair of Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, Region 8B; and past president of the Hill County Bar Association.

Monica C. Button

Monica Button graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2021. She starting working for Kara Pratt as an Intern in 2020. Monica was raised in Whitney, Texas. After living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the past 7 years, she is excited to be back in her home town and the community she loves.

Christie Bonner

Christie began working for Kara Pratt in October, 2009, as a legal assistant. Christie handles the managerial tasks of the office while assisting Mrs. Pratt with all daily tasks and special projects.

Lori Howard

Lori began working for Kara Pratt in May 2021 as a legal assistant and has worked as a legal assistant for many years. Lori handles many of the daily tasks as well as helping the office run smoothly.

Antonio Fuentes

Antonio began working for Kara Pratt in January 2026 as an intern and is working toward becoming an attorney. Antonio assists with the daily tasks as well as helping the office run smoothly.

Jessica Pennington

Jessica joined the team in January 2026 as an intern and assistant to Monica. While completing studies in Paralegal Studies with graduation set for 2026, Jessica continues to gain experience supporting the firm's attorneys and clients with professionalism.

Daisy The Law Dog

Kara brings her four pawed family member, Daisy, with her to work every day. Daisy is a yellow Labrador Retriever, who's more than a little spoiled. Daisy's job is to make sure all of the birds and various creatures that make their way onto the lawn are properly barked at, the naps are properly taken, and the treats are properly eaten. She's arguably the most important member of the team.

At 2 years old, Lilibet (Known to her colleagues as "Lily") brings a focused burst of energy to the firm. A dedicated Maltipoo, Lily specializes in high-stakes client relations, ensuring every visitor receives an attentive, friendly welcome and a therapeutic round of kisses.
